Silkie Lloyd
Silkie Lloyd is a Bristol based surface pattern designer. She is self taught, having majored in photography at Bath Spa University in 2000. She launched her stationery company “Rosehip” in 2005, which has grown from a workspace at home to a thriving studio and warehouse on Bristol’s historic dockside. Rosehip products are sold worldwide to both top end independent boutiques and high street stores such as John Lewis and Waterstones.
Silkie’s design vision is very much inspired by vintage fabric and wallpapers and her greatest joy is the interaction of colours, which can be seen played out in the vibrant stationery collections she has created for “Rosehip”
Alongside this flourishing business, Silkie’s bespoke designs have been commissioned by company’s such as The National Trust, Galison, and most recently an exclusive collection for Waterstones autumn stationery range.
